This person will register you in our system, find the earliest available appointment time , and check with you to see if the time works for you or if you need to reschedule. This is precisely what a dental technician (or, in our terminology, a 3D clinical specialist) specializes in. Together with the dentist, they create a plan designed to be effective and to yield a functional and aesthetic result. What does this look like in practice? As part of the treatment plan, all the data is analyzed and an initial plan is prepared, which is then further refined. During the preparation of the treatment plan , the individual tooth movements, the final position, and the specific appliances we need to use to achieve the final position are all determined.
Your braces are finally ready, and you’re heading to the dentist’s office to have them fitted for the first time. To do this, they need to attach so-called attachments to your teeth, explain how the braces are fitted, how they’re adjusted and worn, how to care for them, and how to use the Virtual Care app (which you’ll try out right away under supervision), and then monitor how the treatment is progressing—and the nurses take care of all of this under the doctor’s supervision.
