How important is a smile to you in your daily life?
A smileis my secret weapon 😈 – it can break the ice, lift your spirits, and sometimes even resolve an awkward situation!
How long did you consider getting your teeth straightened, and what finally convinced you to start treatment?
I thought about it for a long time because I wasn’t sure if it was right for me. But the consultation immediately showed me what my options were, and I’d recommend it to anyone who’s on the fence—it really makes the decision easier!
What does having a healthy, straight smile mean to you, and how does it affect your personal and professional life?
It opens doors in your professional life and hearts in your personal life—so it’s a win-win! 😄😋
What’s the biggest compliment you’ve received from friends or family since you started treatment?
People are usually pleasantly surprised when they find out you’re wearing braces and they can’t even tell! It’s a great feeling when someone says, “Wait, you’re wearing braces? I would never have guessed!”
If you had to describe the treatment process in one sentence, what would it be?
It’s a journey where things can get a little tough at times, but in the end, you stand in front of the mirror and say to yourself, “Yeah, it’s worth it!”
Do you think this change inspires you to invest more in your health and appearance?
It mainly inspired me to realize that it’s always worth exploring all your options. At first, I was considering getting completely new teeth, but when I found out that braces were a more natural option and that food would still taste just as good, the decision was made. Who wants to ruin their appetite for chocolate, right? 😀
I’ve had a wonderful experience with Svět rovnátek 😊 The team is friendly and always happy to offer advice. Thanks to them, I now have the smile I’ve always dreamed of 😍 I recommend them to anyone who wants high-quality care and great results!

What motivated you to choose invisible braces at Svět rovnátek?
Well, let’s just say I wanted braces that were a bit more discreet. I had fixed braces when I was a teenager, and going back to them would remind me of elementary school, which didn’t really suit me, especially since I’m always in front of the camera. So when I found out I could straighten my teeth without anyone noticing, it was a no-brainer.
What were your initial concerns or expectations regarding the treatment?
My first thought was: Will it hurt? And my second: Will I end up lisping with them? But in the end, it was totally fine. And I was also afraid I’d keep leaving them behind somewhere, which happened a few times—once they ended up in a pocket in the car and I didn’t know about them for a week.
What would you say is the biggest advantage of clear aligners compared to traditional braces?
For me, it’s mainly about freedom—I can take them out whenever I want, like for a photo shoot or to eat. And then, of course, the fact that they’re invisible. Fixed braces are fine, but not everyone wants the “metal look.”
What surprised you most about the treatment?
You get used to it so quickly. On the first day, I thought to myself, “OK, I’ve got plastic in my mouth.” But by the second day, it was already routine. I was also surprised by how quickly it worked. Suddenly, I realized my teeth weren’t where they used to be.
Do you have any special tips you’d recommend to those who are about to start their own journey with invisible braces?
Yeah, definitely: Always keep a box handy so you don’t leave them lying around on a table at a restaurant (my personal fail). And don’t forget to drink—water is your friend, especially if you don’t want to take them off just for every sip of coffee.
If you had to summarize what this treatment has given you, how would you describe it?
She gave me a smile I’d happily use as my profile picture! Seriously—I don’t frown anymore when I smile in photos. And most importantly, she made me realize that if I want a change, it’s not rocket science—I just have to get started.

Do you like to smile?
Of course! I love being around people with a sense of humor—laughter is really important to me. That’s one of the reasons I decided to get invisible braces!
Did people around you notice the invisible braces?
And you know what? In everyday use, no one notices them. I only take them off when recording a podcast, because the microphone is sensitive to even the slightest nuances, but in everyday use, they’re imperceptible.
How has your life changed with your new smile?
I’m no longer shy about smiling in photos; I used to always have to hold back because I didn’t feel comfortable.
Which part of the process was easier or more enjoyable than you expected?
Actually, the whole process is really nice—from the scan, to attaching the brackets, to putting the braces on and taking them off. I’m a total scaredy-cat when it comes to my teeth, and I was pleasantly surprised by everything.
Would you do it again?
Absolutely! Your teeth are the first thing people notice about you, and even though treatment might not be cheap, it’s worth it!
What would you say to people who are unsure whether investing in invisible braces is the right choice?
Recently, a young woman told me that her dentist had told her to forget about braces once she turned 30. I got mine at 34 because my teeth started shifting after my wisdom teeth were extracted. And if crooked teeth bother you as much as they did me, you’ll feel such a sense of relief—it’s painless, no one will notice, and you’ll be truly satisfied.
